Jeewoo Choi
Mechanical Engineer
Stanford-trained mechanical engineer pursuing an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics & Thermodynamics) at Stanford University. Experience in aerospace test, pneumatic soft robotics, hypersonic propulsion modeling, and LabVIEW-based DAQ automation.
Also an active engineering tutor for undergraduate and graduate students. Subjects include thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, dynamics & controls, and MATLAB/Python.
Engineer by training.
Teacher by passion.
I'm Jeewoo Choi, a mechanical engineer pursuing my M.S. at Stanford University (Robotics & Thermodynamics, 2026), with a B.S. from Stanford in Dynamic Systems and Controls (2024). My work spans aerospace test engineering, pneumatic soft robotics, hypersonic propulsion modeling, and LabVIEW-based DAQ automation for flight hardware.
I've interned at Boeing Test & Evaluation, Stanford's CHARM Lab (soft robotics), and the FX Lab (combustion & ignition research). Outside of engineering work, I tutor students in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, dynamics & controls, and MATLAB/Python — making hard concepts click with real worked examples.
